Overview

L'edizione 2008 della serie Smackdown vs. Raw detiene nuove funzionalità al franchise di gioco WWE. Questo è il primo della serie a includere gli estremisti di ECW, tra cui The Sandman, Marcus Cor Von e CM Punk. Il gioco presenta anche un nuovo sistema di sottomissione della lotta, nuove scelte di armi tra cui chitarre, e otto stili di combattimento superstar, tra cui Showman, Powerhouse, High-Flyer e altro ancora. Ogni giocatore può ora scegliere uno stile di combattimento primario e secondario. Prosegue la leggendaria tendenza e nuove arene, come Wrestlemania 23, Unforgiven e Summerslam, così come le classiche superstar come Undertaker, Shawn Michaels e Ric Flair. Il roster dipende in gran parte dalla piattaforma, e alcune versioni includono wrestler non disponibili nelle altre.
