Precrna Rupa

Overview

Precrna Rupa ("Too Black of a Hole" in English) is a short narrative adventure game with a metroidbrainia twist, set in the streets of Zagreb, Croatia. Inspired by POYY, the punk album by Croatian artist IDEM, the game adapts the record's themes, stories, and music into an interactive experience. Players explore the city, talk to its inhabitants, gather information, and connect seemingly unrelated details to progress through the story. Developed for the Nintendo Game Boy, Precrna Rupa can be played on original hardware, compatible devices, emulators, and directly in a web browser through its Itch.io page. Available in both Croatian and English, it is the first Game Boy game ever released in the Croatian language.
