Hyperlane Highway is a VR roguelike arcade shooter where your body is the controller. You physically lean to surf a hoverboard through neon faster-than-light transit tunnels. No thumbstick needed, no motion sickness, nothing between your intention and the lane. Kill enemies, build combo, go faster. Die, come back stronger. You are a Way Rider: a sponsored celebrity operative clearing rogue AI constructs from the galaxy's collapsed FTL network. Every run is a live broadcast. Every death is a media event. Between runs you spend Sponsorship Credits on permanent upgrades in your Ship Hub, ensuring the next ride starts stronger. Strategic depth comes from a deep roguelike build system. Dual-wield energy weapons and shape each run using 40+ randomised Sponsor Mod cards, stacking synergies like chain lightning, explosive rounds and shield reflection. Mid-run slow-motion Pitstops let you buy, sell or recycle upgrades via rival corporate faction vendors before re-entering the chaos. Killing enemies builds a heat combo that physically increases your travel speed. Skill directly controls pace, rewarding aggression without punishing casual play.
